Large terrine with saucer, Wedgwood, England, 18th century. Cream ware - pearlware. With hand-painted floral decorations and flower decorations in relief on edge. Height with dish: 35 cm. Length of terrine: 40 cm. Length of dish: 43 cm. Stamped: E. Mayer no. 313.
NB Excellent condition apart from repairs to the inner edge and cracks!
Really rare!
Provenance: Pastor Svend Zachariassen, priest in Hviding and later Kliplev. The photograph is from Hviding approx. 1910.
