Description:

The foot is slightly oval.

It is signed Holmegaard PL 2380.

The glass is larger than red wine and will do well as a beer glass, closer to the beer goblet.
It is with inlaid brown colors and a hint of green and cyan.

Per Lütken designed Cascade for Holmegaard glasswork in the late 1960'ish. The series is taken out of production during the 1980s.
Cascade consists of bowls, vases and very unusually also of drinking glasses in 3 sizes.

The parts of the series are freely made by hand according to the approved models. There is then applied to the white base color glass cuts that melts into the mass and is pulled out of shape along the shape of the object.
