Rare, antique Japanese fuki-bokashi graphic of a seated monkey from 1774 by the Japanese artist Toriyama Sekien (1712 - 88) from the album Gafa.
Toriyama Sekien was a learned kyöka poet and ukiyo-e artist of Japanese folklore.
The graphic is framed in an old 19th century silver frame with curved glass and with a very fine patina. H: 35cm. W: 29cm.
