Vintage black Montblanc number 254 fountain pen from the 1950s. Made in Germany. Piston ink refill. CRACK IN THE CAP. One Tine On the nib is a little Bent. However ready to be used. All parts original to this fountain pen including 14 carat 585 gold nib. L. 13½ cm.THIS FOUNTAIN PEN IS ALSO CALLED THE "KAREN BLIXEN MODEL" BECAUSE BARONESS KAREN VON BLIXEN-FINECKE, WHO IS BEST KNOWN FOR BEING A DANISH POET, AUTHOR AND STORYTELLER, USED A MONTBLANC FOUNTAIN PEN SIMILAR TO THIS ONE. EXACTLY THE SAME SIZE AND COLOR. IS ALSO PRODUCED IN A BURDEAUX EDITION. THIS MODEL IS ALSO AVAILABLE IN A SMALLER EDITION (NO. 252) AND A LARGE EDITION (NO. 256).
