The figure is part of the Figurette series that Michael Bang designed for Kastrup Holmegaard in 1969.

This consists of 14 different figures all made in clear glass.
However, just this elephant with the trunk down does not appear in the catalog material.

It is in good condition with a small dent on the stand surface - please see the picture.
