Decorative "Lillerod" owl jug in glazed earthenware in a fine ochre glaze. Height: 11.5cm.
The jug is one of the very old ones before they were stamped on the bottom and has some edge chips and a really nice old patina.
The Lillerod ceramic factory was founded in the 1870s and closed in 2006. In 1955 the company was taken over by Ejner Petersen and his wife, after which all goods are stamped Lillerod on the bottom.
