Elegant ceramic vase with a teardrop-shaped body, rounded base and long, slender neck. The surface is covered in a glossy turquoise-blue glaze with subtle tonal variations, emphasising the harmonious and sculptural silhouette. A characteristic example of Swedish modernist ceramics from the mid-20th century. First quality.

Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920–1990) was a prominent Swedish ceramicist and designer, best known for his work at Rörstrand. His work is characterised by simple sculptural forms, refined proportions and experimental glazes. Stålhane's ceramics from the mid-20th century are highly sought after by collectors of Scandinavian design today.
