Bio:
Tapio Wirkkala (1915–1985) was one of Finland’s most influential designers, working across glass, ceramics, silver and graphic design. He collaborated with Iittala and created a number of iconic glass designs inspired by natural forms, especially ice and water. His works are represented in museums worldwide and are considered key examples of Nordic modernism.
