Manglebraet, dated 1739, Danish, with beautiful cuttings and incl. the roller stick
The handle is formed as a horse
The manglebraet has never been painted, and the year is cutted into the wood and clear to see

The manglebraet is an antique tool used for ironing. The cloth was wraped around the roller stick. The stick was pressed against the table with the manglebraet and pushed backwards and forwards. The manglebraet was often used as a gift to the girlfriend.
