Description:

Height 10,5 cm.
Diameter of the saucer 13.5 cm.
Beautiful commemorative cup from 1790-1810 from Royal Copenhagen with Danish text.

The cup is the rare double-bent model from the 18th century, which is also found in Blue fluted. The three parts are all original a set and in very fine condition. The cup has an old hairline near the handle, but nothing that scares the cup's appearance.
The cup is decorated with a large cartouche where an angel pulls a blanket to the side and a scene is revealed where a basket of flowers is seen and a plate with the text "Til Wenskabs erindring", "In remembrance of friendship".
On the sides, the cup is painted with bouquets of colorfull flowers.
The saucer is painted with smaller bouquets of colorfull flowers and a neoclassical figurine in sepia decoration, surrounded by forget-me-not flowers.
The lid of the cup is with a rose bud as bud with only a few glazing chips, gilded leaves and bouquets of colorfull flowers. Saucer and lid are both decorated with a meander bort in gold.

The set have signs of wear to the gold, but is otherwise in good condition.

The cup originates from a private Danish collection of 18th and 19th century porcelain.
