Born in Nagafune-cho. Studied under Kaneshige Riemon and became independent in 1974. Received the Sanyo Shimbun Award at the Prefectural Exhibition. He received the Sanyo Shimbun Award at the Prefectural Exhibition and the Chairman’s Award at Japan Kogei Association Branch Exhibition. Kanashige Toyo Prize.
