Acanthus luncheon fork no. 022 length 16.7 cm. 6 5/8 inches.
Fine condition, normal signs of use. From the period 1945-1977.
Designed by the painter, Johan Rohde, and produced since 1917. Johan Rohde, who lived for a time in Italy, was inspired by the antique style. This shows in the cutlery's pillar shaped handle which ends in a Corinthian capital with acanthus leaves. Johan Rohde began his close and lifelong association with Georg Jensen in 1906.
