Danske Kvinders Beredsskab's (DKB) armband and silver brooch. 1939 ff. Denmark. 8 x 17 cn, Brooch length: 4.3 cm.The armband is stamped: Police Nr. 43, Rougsø Herred. The brooch is designed with a lur.
In 1939, DKB was founded on the initiative of the Ministry of the Interior. The purpose of DKB was to take care of the evacuation of the Danish population if the country were to be subjected to a bombardment. You could only become a member if you were a woman. There were more than 40,000 members.
