Bing & Grøndahl Butterfly dish with gilt rim, 1880s.
Antique oval porcelain dish decorated in blue underglaze with the classic Butterfly pattern. The decoration is centred around a butterfly medallion with floral scrolls, framed by a distinctive scale-pattern border and finished with a hand-applied gilt rim. A rare early example from Bing & Grøndahl’s late 19th-century production.
