Bio:
Lisa Larson was one of the most influential Swedish ceramic artists of the 20th century and worked at Gustavsberg from 1954 onwards. Her oeuvre ranges from figurative ceramics to clean-lined decorative objects, combining strong form with distinctive surface decoration. During the 1970s she explored more graphic, repetitive patterns, often in muted earthy tones, which are highly sought after by collectors today.
