Höganäs Keramik was founded in 1909 in Höganäs, Skåne, Sweden. Throughout the 20th century the company became known for functional stoneware defined by simple forms and durable glazes, often in muted or clear colours. The production combined industrial manufacturing with Scandinavian design traditions and achieved wide distribution both in the Nordic countries and internationally.
