Bio:
Peter Zennström (1945–2014) was a Swedish painter and printmaker born in Stockholm who lived and worked in Vagnhärad. His work combines abstraction and representation, often forming organic, symbolic imagery that compresses the surrounding world into an intense microcosm. Zennström’s art frequently addresses social, political, and economic injustice and is characterised by a tense atmosphere and a distinctive dark humour. He exhibited widely in Sweden and internationally, and his works are represented in major public collections including Moderna Museet, Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, Göteborgs Konstmuseum, Borås Konstmuseum, Malmö Museum, Norrköpings Konstmuseum and Samtidsmuseet in Oslo.
