Bing & Grøndahl was founded in Copenhagen in 1853 by sculptor Frederik Vilhelm Grøndahl (1820–1883) together with brothers Meyer Hermann Bing (1807–1883) and Jacob Herman Bing (1804–1881). The company became internationally renowned for high-quality porcelain figurines, tableware and decorative arts, holding a significant place in Danish porcelain history throughout the 19th and 20th centuries.
