Cavalry saber model 1843, Frederiksværk, 1850, Denmark. Single-edged blade. Leather-covered grip with brass wire. Green tassels. Iron scabbard. Stamped: Frederiksværk, 1850 and BGC. L: 108 cm.Cf. the book "Old Danish Military Weapons" by Th. Møller (1977), the use of the saber applies to the dragoon regiments and the guard hussars.
