René Lalique (1860–1945) was a French glass artist and jeweller regarded as one of the most influential designers of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. He revolutionised modern glassmaking and perfume bottle design through his innovative forms and techniques. His name remains synonymous with luxury French glass design and is highly regarded by collectors worldwide.
