Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was one of the most influential Scandinavian ceramic artists and designers. He served as artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931 and created some of the factory’s most sought-after stoneware series. Nylund is renowned for his organic forms, innovative glazes and major contribution to the development of modern Scandinavian ceramics during the twentieth century.
