Set of six sculptural tea light holders in heavy clear glass from the Solros series amongst others, designed by Göran Wärff for Holmegaard and Kosta Boda. Organic forms inspired by sunflower petals and the light-refracting qualities of glass.

Origin: Denmark and Sweden.

Bio:
Göran Wärff (1933-2022) was a Swedish glass artist and designer educated at Konstfack in Stockholm. He joined Kosta Boda in 1964 and created numerous iconic art glass and functional glass series. Wärff became renowned for his mastery of glass optics and his organic forms inspired by nature. His work is represented in several international museum collections and is regarded as a significant contribution to modern Scandinavian glass design.
