A set of four hand-painted porcelain lidded boxes in various shapes, including three examples from Limoges and one by another French manufacturer. Decorated with floral motifs, gilding, and finely hand-painted details. All pieces are marked.

Bio:
Limoges has been the centre of French porcelain production since the late 18th century, following the discovery of rich kaolin deposits in the region. During the first half of the 20th century, both the Limoges factories and other French porcelain manufacturers produced elegant hand-painted trinket boxes decorated with floral motifs and gilding. These decorative boxes remain highly collectible for their refined craftsmanship and timeless French design.
