Bio:
Rolf Fagerberg (1934-2008) was a Swedish ceramicist, visual artist and sculptor, born and died in Malmö. He worked primarily with stoneware and raku, creating thrown objects as well as sculptures, masks and reliefs. Following a visit to Mexico, his artistic expression developed towards new forms, resulting in a series of distinctive masks, sculptures and reliefs. For around twenty years he maintained a studio and exhibition activities in the old smithy at Skabersjö estate in Scania and also spent parts of the year in Provence.
