Set of four pasta dishes from the Blue Line tableware series, designed by Grethe Meyer for Royal Copenhagen. Made in light-coloured faience with the characteristic fine blue rim and a simple, functional form. Model 3072. First quality.

Bio:
Grethe Meyer (1918–2008) was a Danish architect and designer who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture in 1947. Her work was based on a systematic approach to function, proportion and efficient use of space. Blue Line entered production at Royal Copenhagen in 1965 and received the Danish Industrial Design Prize that same year. The faience tableware was developed with particular attention to stacking, compatibility and efficient use of space.
