Bio:
Amalric Walter (1870–1959) was a French glass artist, born in Sèvres, where he began his career at the national porcelain manufactory. From around 1904 he worked for Daum in Nancy and after the First World War founded his own workshop in the city, which produced more than 500 models until 1935. He is particularly known for his works in pâte de verre, often with motifs from nature.
